Overall there is still some functionality I'm missing and the program is still slow (with my large database it can take up to 50 seconds for the first font activation/deactivation of a session â?? subsequent actions are usually under 5 seconds), but the new features allow me to recommend FEX. If you're a casual user, maybe the other programs are a tad simpler to use and look more sleek, but I really want to dig into the fonts â?? see all glyphs (and I mean all), view all the information contained in a font, customize everything, print nice samples â?? and neither FAP or SF allow me to do that like FEX can.

The thing about FontAgent 8 is that it focuses more on font metadata, rather than giving more importance to preview. Of course, you can preview the content using the same old ‘Quick brown fox’ text, but individual comparison of glyphs doesn’t come right.
Folders are used to sort Sets and Smart Sets. This is a convenient way to store all the Sets and Smart Sets that you created for a certain project ort customer in one place.

Despite all these, RightFont does not give the Pro feel that we found in Typeface. The filtering system is kind of smart, but not smart enough to make your life productive. But, if you think you need syncing and external features, you should give it a try.
